In an educational institution, seminars play a significant role in stimulating the thought process. They induce people to exchange new information that would not have been available otherwise. Moreover, technology driven tools to present knowledge from an expert help gain better understanding of topics which usually enables an audience to gain maximum knowledge as well as in generating new ideas.
A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which the players (as individuals or in teams) attempt to answer questions correctly. A quiz is also considered as a brief assessment used in educational institutions and similar fields to measure the growth in knowledge, abilities and skills. Keeping the obvious benefits of conducting quiz competitions, our institution annually conducts quiz competition during our college week which is usually held in the month of October. Winners in individual and team category are feted during our Annual Fresher Social day.
Takia Wicks Says, “Debates teaches you to think outside the box and to stand up for yourself without resorting to violence. It also improves your speaking skills, helps you get along with your friends better and you meet smart-minded people like yourself. It builds leaders that will make these decisions”. This pearl of wisdom inspire us to organize debating competition every year on important issues in order to enhance our students with practical oratory skills so as to become successful leaders in their future life.
Our classrooms are equipped with computer and audio-visual equipment, allowing the teachers to teach the students using a wide variety of media. Most of the classrooms in our college are smart classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with internet Access via Wi-Fi, room speakers, laptop connections, LCD and overhead projectors, projector screen etc. Using of such modern tools of education helps our students to grasp about their subject matter more efficiently which ultimately helps them to improve their academic excellence in their respective disciplines.
Our college has an ultra modern Computer lab which provides support to our enrolled students, faculty and staff in the use of computers and software applications. The primary goal of our computer lab is to provide assistance to students that will enhance their chances of succeeding in technology based classroom assignments and to provide access to equipment that will support the needs of computer knowledge in their day to day affairs.
This college has established a day care centre with adequate faculties which provides a safe and secure environment for kids whose parents are employed in different capacities in this institution.
Academic learning and sports education are complementary to each other. They are like the two sides of the same coin. If the aspect of sport is accompanied with the academic curriculum, the overall personality of the students are increased to a great extent. Inculcating the spirit of sports in educational institutions not only teach the students to maintain their overall health and stamina, but also acts as a catalyst to develop the habit of obedience, discipline, will power etc. In this regard our institution conducts annual sports week where our students take part in different disciplines like Table Tennis, Badminton, Volley Ball, track and field events etc.
